Real people. Real worries. Honest answers.

Most of our clients are not corporations or public figures. They are ordinary people who, at some point in their lives, ended up with a question they could not answer on their own. You are probably one of them.

02 · Why Swiss counsel

Why your case is safer with a Swiss firm.

Switzerland is not a random choice of jurisdiction. For sensitive personal legal matters that cross borders, it offers protections you simply cannot get elsewhere.

— 01

Swiss professional secrecy

Anything you tell a Swiss lawyer is protected by one of the strongest legal privilege regimes in the world — criminally enforced, not just promised.

— 02

Outside the EU, inside the system

Switzerland cooperates with EU and UK institutions — but is not bound by them. For cross-border cases, that independence often matters a lot.

— 03

Geneva is where it happens

Our Geneva office sits minutes from Interpol-facing institutions, UN bodies and the world's most experienced international lawyers. We're in the room.

— 04

Banks listen to Swiss lawyers

When a Swiss-registered law firm writes to a European bank, it is answered differently than a generic letter. In banking matters, that often makes the difference.

03 · What we help with

Seven ways we help — explained in plain language.

No corporate jargon. Most of our services have a fixed price and a clear timeline, so you know exactly what you're paying and what you're getting.

04 · How we work

A real lawyer. A real conversation. No call centre.

Traditional Swiss law firms won't take your call unless your case is worth tens of thousands. Valken was built differently — to give serious legal help to people who actually need it.

— 01

You talk to an actual lawyer

Every inquiry is handled personally by a member of our legal team. No scripts. No generic answers. No "we'll get back to you" that never comes.

— 02

Absolute confidentiality

Whatever you tell us is protected by Swiss professional secrecy from your first message. Encrypted channels are standard, not an upgrade.

— 03

Fixed fees, clear scope

For common situations we quote a fixed price and a timeline upfront. You know what you pay and what you get — no meter running, no surprises.

— 04

Honest answers — including "you're fine"

If you don't have a problem, we tell you. We don't manufacture worries to sell services. Most travel-check clients walk away relieved — and finally sleep.

◆ Our reach · Our people

One Swiss firm. Doors across Europe.

Your first message arrives in Geneva — always. But when a case needs someone physically present, the closest door opens in Berlin, Paris, Warsaw, Milan, or one of the other cities where we've personally vetted every partner on the ground. This is not a referral directory. It is a consortium of lawyers we trust with our clients' names.

Most of our private clients don't write to us in English. They write in Russian, Ukrainian, German, Turkish, French. We reply in the same language, through the same encrypted channel, from the same senior lawyer — not a translator, not a relay.

A Swiss practice

A small firm, built on purpose.

Valken was opened in Geneva in 2022. We are not a big traditional law firm, and we don't try to be. We're a tight, senior team that chose to focus on one very specific kind of work: helping individuals navigate cross-border legal situations that would otherwise fall between the cracks of big firms and local lawyers.

What started as one lawyer taking cases that others refused is now a practice serving clients in 38 countries — still with the same principle: every case is handled personally by a senior lawyer, not passed to a junior, not farmed out to a call centre.

We're Swiss-licensed, admitted to the Geneva Bar, and bound by the same professional secrecy rules as the largest firms in the country. We just apply them to people whose problems are usually called "too small" by the rest of the market.

06 · Fixed-price services

Clear services. Clear prices.

For the most common situations, you don't need a bespoke engagement letter and a retainer. Here's what we offer at fixed prices.

About the timelines — express 24h vs. full 5 days

Our pre-travel and Interpol checks come in two stages. Within 24 hours we deliver an express first assessment — in most cases this is already enough to give you a clear direction. The full written legal opinion — which may involve formal inquiries to Interpol, CCF, SECO or European authorities — is typically ready in 5 business days. We move as fast as a Swiss firm can. Official bodies move at their own pace. We push them hard — but we will never promise what we can't control.

Interpol-Only Check

07 · FAQ

Questions people usually ask before reaching out.

Is my situation too small for a Swiss law firm?

No. Almost certainly not. If it matters to you, it's worth a conversation. We specifically built Valken to serve individuals whose cases don't fit the €50k-retainer model of traditional Swiss firms.

Will anyone find out that I contacted you?

No. Swiss professional secrecy applies from your very first message. We use encrypted channels by default (Signal, ProtonMail, encrypted email) and store files on Swiss-hosted infrastructure.

Can I write to you in Russian, Ukrainian or German?

Yes — and we'll reply in the same language. Around 60% of our intakes come in Russian, German, Ukrainian, Turkish or French. A senior lawyer who is a native speaker of your language will read and answer your message directly. Swiss professional secrecy covers you identically in every language.

Can you guarantee I'll be "cleared"?

No honest lawyer can promise an outcome. What we can promise is a real legal assessment, real representation, and a clear explanation of your actual position and options. That alone resolves the majority of cases.

Do I have to be a Swiss resident?

Not at all. We work with clients across Europe, the UK, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. Most of our work is done remotely. Switzerland is simply our base of licensure.

Why is "full check" 5 days if the express one takes only 24 hours?

In 24 hours we can already give you a clear answer based on our own investigation — and in most cases that's enough. The full 5-day report includes formal inquiries to official bodies (Interpol CCF, SECO, national authorities). Those institutions reply on their own schedule. We do not slow down — we just refuse to fake a result that hasn't come back yet.

Can I pay in cryptocurrency?

Yes, for fixed-price services. We accept BTC, ETH and major stablecoins. Traditional bank transfer and card are also available.

What if I just want to talk before deciding anything?

That's exactly why we offer a confidential consultation. No pressure, no commitment. If, after that conversation, you don't need us — we'll say so.

Are you the same as those "Interpol check" websites I've seen?

No. We are a licensed Swiss legal practice, not a data-broker service. The difference matters both legally and practically. We provide written legal opinions signed by qualified lawyers — not scraped screenshots of public databases.
